There is so much about this post that is problematic that I’m not even sure where to begin refuting it.
How about the obvious.
Since when does being gay equate to being guilty of something? The statement, used in this manner, implies that being gay is a conscious choice, and one that is, by your analogy, inherently wrong. Maybe you need to do some research. Homosexuality is not a choice, it is simply a state of being.
However, society’s choice to make heterosexuality the default ‘norm’ has systematically created an unsafe, unwelcoming environment for homosexuals. This post is just one more example of that bias.
By stating you will ONLY believe Louis is gay when he says it creates a culture that makes it a requirement that he make a public declaration of his sexuality in order for you to either accept or denounce him because of it. Why? When do heterosexuals have to proclaim their sexuality? For that matter, when did they CHOOSE to be straight?
I could give a shit less what sexuality Louis and Harry identify as. As far as I’m concerned, their sexuality is irrelevant. All I see is two people who are obviously deeply in love with each other. Defining it further is just window-dressing to please a society way too wrapped up in putting labels on things in order to rationalize their hate.

Damn. If you ever wanted a crystal clear picture of what the closet looks like and how it operates, there it is right there. That’s why so many queer people in history have been written off as ‘old bachelors’. Possibly with a 50-year roommate. This is how queer history is erased. Especially when being gay literally /is/ a crime and so you either politely turned away and learned not to ask questions, or you blackmailed the person and extorted money out of them—or denounce them to the authorities.

You should see her performance in ‘Speak’. She manages to say a million things in a single glance in some of the scenes. She’s a very talented actress.
^speak is my favorite movie she has done. she can literally say everything without saying in that movie. and the movie itself is just heartbreaking. unless you get triggered by rape i would suggest you go so that movie if you haven’t already
